We are pleased to announce the selection of the 15 winning projects for the 2025 edition of the “J-MED Supporting Youth in the Mediterranean” call for projets.
The J-MED call for projets, operated by Institut Européen de Coopération et de Développement and the team of the Mediterranean New Chance Network is honored to announce the funding of 15 laureats projets for a total amount of 240,000 euros. These projects, from 4 countries (Morocco, Tunisia, Mauritanie et Lebanon), were proposed by 30 civil society organisations (CSOs) from both shores of the Mediterranean and will be launched starting April 1, 2025.
Supported by Monegasque international cooperation, the French Ministry of Europe and Foreign Affairs, the Fondation de France, and the Provence-Alpes-Côte d’Azur Region, J-MED is an innovative and effective initiative to further localize the aid from Monaco and France for Mediterranean youth and support the emergence of the new generation of Mediterranean CSOs.
In addition to funding of up to 15,000 euros per project, J-MED also provides access to a community of actors committed to supporting youth on both shores of the Mediterranean, fostering connections and experience-sharing between organizations, as well as offering training in project cycle and management to all the winners.
This initiative aims to support projects led by CSOs from the southern and eastern shores of the Mediterranean, in partnership with CSOs from countries around the Mediterranean basin. Education, vocational training, socio-economic integration of young women, social and solidarity entrepreneurship, as well as sports, are the main sectors of focus for this call for projects.
