This November 28, Day of the Mediterranean, marks the launch of the 5th edition of the J-MED Call for Projects – Supporting Youth in the Mediterranean. Civil Society Organizations (CSOs) from Mauritania, Tunisia, Lebanon, and Morocco have until January 15, 2025 midnight (GTM+1), to submit their applications.
This initiative aims to support projects led by CSOs from Mauritania, Tunisia, Morocco, and Lebanon in partnerships with CSOs from Monaco, France, Spain, Italy, Malta, Portugal, Mauriatania, Tunisia, Morocco and Lebanon (partnerships between CSOs from the same country are not accepted). Priority sectors for this call include education, vocational training, socio-economic integration, mobility, social and solidarity entrepreneurship, and sports.
Supported by the Government of Monaco, the French Ministry for Europe and Foreign Affairs, the Fondation de France, and the , J-MED is an innovative and impactful initiative aimed at localizing Monaco and France’s aid in favor of Mediterranean actors while fostering the emergence of a new generation of Mediterranean NGOs.
The call for projects is coordinated by the IECD and implemented by the Mediterranean New Chance Network (MedNC) teams.
Beyond grants of up to 15,000 euros, J-MED offers access to a vibrant community of actors committed to supporting youth across the Mediterranean. It provides networking opportunities, shared experiences between organizations, and training on project cycles and management for all selected applicants.
